What is gemmotherapy?

It is the use of plant buds and germinative tissue rather than the mature plant. Aquafolia draws its cappaprenols from caper bud tissue, at small molecular weight. The term describes where the extract comes from and how it is made. It is not a medical claim.

Do I still need a cream after it?

Yes. It conditions and hydrates the upper layers, and Aquafolia positions it as a step that helps the following product penetrate. It is not the finish. Apply your cream or serum on top. Skipping that step wastes what the complex has just set up.
