How to use

Prepare: spray on face and body morning and evening, starting 15 days before your first exposure, and let it dry.
Stimulate: during the season, spray 15 minutes before going out, then apply a suitable sunscreen over it.
Prolong: after exposure, spray morning and evening before your usual skincare.
It contains no sun filter, so your SPF and its reapplication schedule stay exactly as they are.

Questions

When should I start using it before a trip?

Esthederm prints fifteen days. Spray face and body morning and evening for the two weeks before you leave, and let it dry on its own. Starting later is not wasted, it simply gives the preparation phase less time to do its part before the first day of sun.

Is this a self-tanner?

No. It adds no colour of its own, so nothing happens if you use it and stay indoors. It works with skin that already tans naturally, preparing it beforehand and supporting the colour afterwards. If you want colour without sun, the Hydra Boost self-tanning gel-cream is the other route.

Does it replace my sunscreen?

It does not, and Esthederm's own instructions say so. During the exposure phase you spray this fifteen minutes before going out, then apply a suitable sunscreen over it. Your SPF and your two-hour reapplication rhythm do not change because this is in the routine.

Can I use it on my face under makeup?

Yes. It is formulated for face and body, and the mist dries without a film, so it sits under your usual skincare rather than on top of it. Let it dry fully, then carry on with serum, moisturiser and sunscreen in your normal order.
