1. Shake the bottle first. The formula settles between uses.
2. Morning and evening, after cleansing, pour two or three drops into your palm.
3. Press it into face, neck and décolleté with your fingertips, tapping lightly.
4. Or saturate a cotton pad and sweep from the centre outward, then press.
5. Avoid the lips and the eye contour. Follow with your serum, then your cream.

How is this different from a toner?

A toner finishes the cleansing step and prepares the skin. This essence carries cellular extracts at index 4 and works on radiance and the look of firmness. If you use both, Active Tonic comes first, then this. If you only want one, this is the one that does more.

Where does it go in my routine?

Cleanser, tonic if you use one, then this essence, then your serum, then your cream. In the morning, sun protection last. Apply it on damp skin and press rather than wipe. Two or three drops into the palm cover face, neck and décolleté.

Is it suitable for dry skin?

Yes. The instrumental panel of 22 women aged 44 to 60 included 13 with dry skin, applying it twice daily for 28 days, and reported 14.9% higher radiance and 6.9% higher firmness. On dry skin it needs a cream over the top, not instead of one.

How long does a bottle last?

Used morning and evening on face, neck and décolleté, a 100 ml bottle usually runs about two months and a 200 ml about four. Pressing it in with your hands rather than wiping with a pad stretches it considerably, since a cotton pad absorbs a fair amount.
