1. Use it morning and evening, or any time the face needs resetting.

Do I need a toner if I already use a cleanser and a cream?

Not strictly, but this one earns its place if you shave. It goes on when the skin is most irritated and settles it before the cream. Cellcosmet also positions it as preparation, so what follows absorbs better. If you do not shave, it matters less.

Will it sting on freshly shaved skin?

It should not. The formula is alcohol-free, and alcohol is the usual culprit in aftershave products. Witch hazel water and aloe are there to calm rather than bite. If your skin is broken from the blade, wait until it closes before applying anything.
