Activator Gel

1. Use morning and evening, or whichever one of the two suits your rhythm, after cleansing.
2. Dampen the face and neck with water, then apply with light circular movements.
3. Leave it on for two to three minutes, no longer.
4. Rinse with cool water. Avoid the eye contour area entirely.
5. Follow with your toner, then your serum, concentrate or cream as usual.

What exactly does a priming gel do?

It is a short rinse-off step after cleansing. Two to three minutes on damp skin, then cool water. It clears the surface and leaves the skin feeling fresh and toned, so the serum and cream you apply next spread more evenly. It is a preparation, not a treatment.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Be careful here. The formula is built on cinnamon, clove, ginger and turmeric essential oils, and lists allergens including limonene, eugenol, linalool, cinnamal and citral. If your skin flushes easily or reacts to essential oils, this is not the right step for you. Ask Émilie first.

How does it differ from the Active Tonic?

The gel is a rinse-off step used before the toner. The Active Tonic stays on the skin and comes after. Cellcosmet sequences cleanser, then gel, then toner, then serum. You can use the toner alone, but the gel is designed to precede it, not to replace it.

Can I use it every day?

Yes. Cellcosmet indicates morning and evening, or one of the two. Many people settle on evenings, when the skin has a day of city air on it, and keep mornings simple. Two to three minutes is the full contact time, and there is no benefit to leaving it longer.
